Bone Alone


58006 was the first of its class to be used for driver training at Bescot. Here it is on the depot on the 15th February 1984.

Just look at the frost on the grass tips . Must have been an early start for your dad .

Don't suppose we'll ever see the likes again. Did you also spot the work of a local racist on the front cab or does it stand for Bleedin' Nosey Parker?
Yeah looks like the 'old mon' was on early turn but he carried his trusty camera with him at all times. He also had the foresight to take photo's of stuff that was brand new and would be around for years to come.

Yes, I remember that very well, always parked down by the box, and 58005 was always at Saltley for training.
