Whistle Stop


Caught on camera in Bescot Local Sidings on the 18th May 1981 were 40025 'Lusitania' and green celebrity 40106. The green machine found its way into preservation and is currently in full working order at the Nene Valley Railway.

Different Brush Strokes


47077 North Star and 47370 at Bescot on 18th May 1981. North Star is currently being prepared at Loughborough Brush Works to enter preservation at the West Somerset Railway. Its last mainline working will be on Monday 28th May. 47370 is fitted with multiple working equipment.
