BR blue 31427 and EWS 31466 teamed up to work a rake of engineers wagons through Bescot on 25.11.98. I waited an hour for them to come out of the Up sidings and it was well worth it. Two eras years apart in one shot.

Great to see 31s in two liveries. Always one or two around Bescot since the 1970s.... except for nowadays....
Got a shot of one somewhere passing the infamous Newton Rd which i'll get round to posting one day.
